I wish I could thank you all individually for such amazing advice. I have read every comment thoroughly and will be following most of this advice. I can't tell you how relieved I feel that a Non-Jewish man could successfully date a Jewish woman, and I can't tell you how welcomed you made me feel. I was nervous that most opinions would be dissent, but you all have just been truly spectacular. I can't wait to see where the next few months take her and I, and I can't thank you all enough. I have just recently started going on dates with a beautiful and wonderful young lady. We're both 29, and work in the same profession. We've been dating now for the last two months, though not official. She's positively amazing. We've both have had terrible relationships in the past, and we both have described how this dating relationship has been so easy, as if it all just fell into place, and how absolutely right it has all felt. We truly meet the romantic trope where we locked eyes from across the room, and nothing was the same since then, literally. The thing is, she's Jewish, and I'm very much not. I grew up in a Christian household, though would now identify as more deist or agnostic. Of note, her last relationship was with a Christian man for 8 years. So I know dating outside her faith isn't a deal breaker, but her last boyfriend was not supportive at all to her faith, and I want to be better. I studied in some religion classes in college, though am certainly not an expert. But it's clear I already know more about her faith, than the last guy that spent 8 years with her. But, I want to continue to understand, and I want to learn from her. I'm here really because I am just looking for advice on this relationship moving forward. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
