When he wasn’t cracking wise, Willis played many other memorable roles in films that included The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Billy Bathgate (1991), Color of Night (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), The Fifth Element (1997), The Sixth Sense ( 1999) The Story of Us (1999), Looper (2012) and Motherless Brooklyn (2019). Willis’ first credited performance was as Western star Tom Mix in Blake Edwards’ Sunset in 1988. His last was in Assassin in 2023.
