I think everyone complains that their city is the absolute worst for dating. But are there any cities/towns where you have had success? And what makes these places better than others? Does a high percentage of transplants encourage a better or worse dating scene? Does a higher population necessarily correlate to better options or just more options? Is it better to just go where you think you'd be the most happy regardless of these factors? I am 25F (Asian- Indian) and am thinking about where to move next year. I am looking for a serious relationship, not really interested in casual dating. Of course I have other interests besides dating lol (i.e running, nature, hiking), but I'm just curious about evaluating potential cities for their social/dating scenes. I am specifically considering places like Atlanta, Research Triangle, NC, Baltimore, Charlottesville VA, Columbus OH, and Richmond VA. I'd love to hear any thoughts on these places or others!
